• We had a meeting at Orfanos with the participation of Gaia Robotics on Tuesday 16.04
  • There was an opportunity of having discussions about the Macro Expert Ltd (MEX) developments:
    • Mobil meteorological station which can be implemented in the agriculture for different goals.
    • This meteorological device consists of different sensors which are innovative, weatherproof, and works in the cell phone network under low energy demand.
    • From the plants-growing point of view, the device will be able to register all the necessary meteorological data.
    • The device can be supplemented with other sensors easily.
    • The first market release is expected in March next year.
  • MEX also explained that there is an ongoing research and development project in the company for utilizing the available meteorological data in the plant protection domain.
  • There are several mathematical formulas with which we can predict the appearance of pests and pathogens.
  • Due to the facts the prediction models must be specified, made more accurate and easily implemented, MEX is looking for R&D project calls where together with consortium partners can submit an application.
  • Together with our potential partners at Orfanos we have decided to evaluate all the possible cooperation in the coming months.
